We are first and foremost
a group of people who like to play harp. We are of all ages and many different
levels of ability. Our repertoire consists mostly of folk, celtic and
early music. Our members play both pedal and lever harps.
We enjoy playing in public and are sometimes available for various events.
We generally consider a group event to include at least five members were
performing as an ensemble. Since some of our members are young people,
some events would not be suitable. We do not have any amplification systems,
but if you want to mic us with your own sound system, that's fine.
Though as a group we would like to offer our services for free, harps are heavy and clumsy instruments to move around. We ask for some consideration to cover such things as parking, particularly at venues where parking is limited but necessary. We are a generous and giving group, and are happy to play at events that benefit the community.
If your event is of
a different nature, you may wish to hire one or more of our members. Some
are professionals who charge for services or may ask for a nominal fee
to cover expenses. Others may ask for a donation to our group in lieu
of any fee. These individuals are listed below and can be contacted at
